Nova Scotia’s Healthcare and Housing Crisis: Prof. David Divine Advocates Collaborative Solutions
In a recent conversation with Community Update, Prof. David Divine, a distinguished advocate and graduate of prestigious institutions, has shed light on critical issues surrounding housing and healthcare, particularly affecting African Nova Scotians.
Drawing from his personal experiences as a black man who grew up in an orphanage, Professor Divine articulates the profound impact of personal circumstances on life’s trajectory. His insights underscore a visible housing crisis, emphasizing homelessness and the pressing need for government intervention. He advocates for collaborative efforts, stressing the pivotal role of community partnerships and credible groups in mitigating the crisis.
Addressing healthcare deficits affecting marginalized communities, immigrants, and indigenous populations, Devine critiques the current system.
